Common grades include QSn4-3, QSn4.4-2.5, QSn7-0.2, ZQSn10, ZQSn5-2-5 and ZQSn6-6-3. Tin bronze is a non-ferrous alloy with low casting shrinkage and is suitable for complex castings where wheel-profile definition and gas tightness requirements are moderate. It offers strong corrosion resistance in air, seawater, fresh water and steam. Phosphor tin bronze combines good mechanical properties with excellent wear and elasticity performance for precision machine components. Leaded tin bronze is widely used for wear parts and sliding bearings, while zinc tin bronze is suitable for gas-tight castings.
